Fenian's Keep Irish Pub Plans Grand Opening for March 28th
The new Irish Pub is currently soft opened.
CHARLOTTE, NC — Fenian's Keep Irish Pub has soft opened at 423 East 36th Street Unit A, Charlotte, NC 28205, with a grand opening planned for March 28, owner Kyle Musumeci told Business Debut. The bar quietly opened on March 13 as the team begins welcoming guests and getting a feel for the neighborhood.
Musumeci said the concept is designed as a neighborhood-focused Irish-inspired pub serving drinks only, with no food service.
What to Expect
Fenian's Keep spans roughly 1,500 square feet and features a long, rectangular “shotgun-style” bar layout. The space is designed to function as a casual gathering spot where guests can stop in for drinks, watch sports, and spend time with friends.
Musumeci said the pub will keep sports on television and offer a rotating mix of music, with plans to introduce live music in the future.
The bar is 21 and older but welcomes dogs, creating a relaxed environment for guests spending time in the neighborhood. “Just kind of your neighborhood watering hole,” Musumeci told Business Debut.
Fenian's Keep focuses exclusively on drinks, with a limited beverage menu during the initial opening period. Musumeci said the goal is to adjust offerings based on feedback from guests and the surrounding businesses.
He described the concept as inspired by the social culture of traditional Irish pubs, where guests from different backgrounds gather and connect.
“I think the beauty with that is there is no demographic,” Musumeci told Business Debut. “Young, old, whatever you may be going through in life, it helps when you get an area or a pub where you can hang out and meet people and be around like-minded individuals.”
Musumeci also operates Brigid’s Irish Pub in Charlotte’s South End, which recently celebrated six years in business.
