Fat Shack Opening Soon in Johns Creek

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Fat Shack is working toward an opening at 11105 State Bridge Rd Ste 360 Johns Creek, GA 30022, with owner Videsh Kumar telling Business Debut the restaurant is fully built out and awaiting final city approvals.

Kumar said the process has taken longer than expected due to ongoing requirements from the city, but added that the team is nearing the finish line. “The restaurant is fully furnished and just ready to open,” he told Business Debut.

What to Expect

The Johns Creek location will follow the Fat Shack franchise model, offering a casual dine-in setup with about 10 tables. The restaurant will also serve beer and wine alongside its full menu.

This marks Kumar’s second Fat Shack location, following his Acworth restaurant, which opened in 2021. The concept originated in Denver, Colorado.

Menu and Vision

Fat Shack is known for its late-night, indulgent menu centered around sandwiches, sides, and comfort food items. The Johns Creek location will mirror the existing menu offered at other locations.

Kumar said the goal is consistency across locations while bringing the same experience that has worked in Acworth.

Opening Timeline

An exact opening date has not been announced. Kumar said the team is targeting opening as soon as final city approvals are completed.

Hours

The Johns Creek location is expected to operate Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. — 1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. — 3 a.m.
