Fast Casual Coffee Concept Debuting in New Port Richey
Espresso Gallery and Cafe will open March 2 with house-made pastries, coffee, and community-focused gathering spaces in New Port Richey.
NEW PORT RICHEY, FL - Michael and Kimberly Ottaway are preparing to open Espresso Gallery and Cafe on March 2 at 6130 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey, FL 34653. Michael Ottaway told Business Debut the new fast-casual coffee shop is designed as a welcoming, home-like space where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy coffee and house-made food.
What to Expect
Espresso Gallery and Cafe is built around comfort and flexibility, with spaces for reading, working, and gathering. Guests will order at the counter, with staff delivering food and drinks to tables inside or outside. The cafe will seat about 15 indoors, with roughly 25 additional seats outdoors, including a gazebo overlooking a waterfall and landscaped garden area.
The outdoor space is also planned to host community events such as farmers markets, cars-and-coffee meetups, and officers-and-coffee gatherings with local law enforcement.

Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on coffee, baked goods, and breakfast-forward offerings made fresh from scratch daily. Ottaway said pastries and baked items will be prepared in-house each morning, including muffins, apple and cherry turnovers, biscuits, and cakes.
“The apple caramel crumb cake is just by far phenomenal,” Ottaway told Business Debut, adding that bagels will be shipped in from a New York bakery after extensive tasting. The menu will also include bagel sandwiches with cream cheese, lox, and breakfast proteins using Boar’s Head products, along with items like hot oatmeal and biscuits and gravy.
Ownership and Community Focus
Ottaway, who also owns Otto Wee’s Ice Cream and Melt It in downtown New Port Richey, said the idea grew from a desire to help revitalize the area near Spartan Manor. He noted that the cafe is intentionally designed to encourage conversation and time away from phones.
“What we want is the community to come in and interact,” Ottaway told Business Debut. “Take a couple minutes off the phone, sit down, and actually communicate with each other.”
