SEBRING, FL — Agape Family Farms plans to reopen Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at 631 Schlosser Rd, Sebring, FL 33875, owner Frank Izquierdo told Business Debut.

The family-run farm is opening its gates to the public under Florida’s agritourism statutes, pairing an on-farm visit with what Izquierdo described as a “farm to table” food offering built around “fresh straight from the ground… pesticide-free and just full of flavor.”

What to Expect

Agape Family Farms is reopening the property alongside the launch of its first restaurant concept, Agape Family Restaurant. Izquierdo said the restaurant currently has 49 seats spread across the terrace and restaurant areas, with seating positioned to allow guests to remain connected to the surrounding farm and gardens.

Izquierdo said many visitors arrive expecting a quick meal but end up staying much longer once they experience the property. “People come in grab and go and they never go they always stay,” he told Business Debut. He said guests typically spend about an hour and a half on site, noting that the farm includes garden areas, animals, and a playground that encourage families to explore beyond the table.

The restaurant and farm are open to the public during regular weekend hours with no reservations required. In addition to regular service, the property is also used for catered events, celebrations, and parties, allowing the farm to host both everyday visitors and private gatherings, Izquierdo said.

Alongside the farm, the family is introducing a separate food component called Agape Family Restaurant. Izquierdo said the restaurant side will serve items like chicken tenders and hot dogs, along with Cuban-inspired plates including “con gris,” which he described as white rice with black beans, paired with grilled chicken.

Izquierdo framed the mission as cutting out “the middle person” to shorten the time between harvest and plate, which he said improves both taste and health. “Cutting that off really makes a difference for our health and also for the taste of the experience,” he told Business Debut.

He also emphasized that the farm’s focus is on more than a meal. “People are looking for an experience and we understand this very clearly,” Izquierdo said. “From the time you just enter the doors and go through our gates all the way to seeing the animals and sitting down for a delicious breakfast brunch or lunch… the experience is there from beginning all the way to the end.”

Ownership and Team

Agape Family Farms is run by Frank Izquierdo alongside his wife, Yoli Izquierdo, and their son, Frankie Izquierdo. Izquierdo also credited team members Alejandro, Ceci, Ali, and Jessica, noting that Jessica works closely with children on the farm.

Vision

Izquierdo said the goal of Agape Family Farms is to offer both fresh produce and a full experience for visitors. “People are looking for an experience and we understand this very clearly,” he told Business Debut, adding that the experience is meant to last from the moment guests enter the farm through their time dining and exploring the property.
