ALPHARETTA, GA — Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que is preparing to open at 10710 State Bridge Rd #150, Alpharetta, GA 30022 with a targeted launch in February 2026, Derek S Scott, M.D., told Business Debut. The site sits on the border of Alpharetta and Johns Creek, with the street address remaining the same but city designation shifting depending on where you stand on the property.

What to Expect

The restaurant will operate with a hybrid model offering counter service, dine-in seating, and robust takeout options. Scott said the space will seat approximately 30 guests and will support catering services for local events. Customers will be able to order in advance, dine in, or bring meals home.

Scott described the brand as a Midwest-rooted barbecue concept known for ribs, brisket, chicken, and a variety of sides. He emphasized the “Famous Feast,” a family-sized meal he said has long been his personal go-to.

Menu and Vision

Menu offerings will feature ribs, brisket, chicken, and an assortment of classic sides, including baked beans with brisket, corn, wedge fries, and creamy coleslaw. Scott told Business Debut that every item on the menu is designed to deliver consistent flavor and quality.

He added that the Famous Feast is a highlight designed to serve a family with leftovers for the next day. Customers will also be able to purchase the brand’s sauces and seasonings onsite, with many products also available in local stores.

Background and Ownership

Scott previously owned Taste of Chicago, a concept he operated in Nashville and later Washington State. He also owns several Smoothie King franchises. He said he has long enjoyed bringing “great food to good people” and looks forward to introducing this brand to the area. This location will be the first Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que in Georgia.

The leadership team also includes Lord Byran Degraffinreid and Vetra Stephenson, both of whom relocated from Detroit. Scott said they were enthusiastic about helping open the brand’s first Georgia location and will oversee day-to-day operations.

Hours

The restaurant plans to open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hours may extend to 11 p.m. during football season to accommodate postgame crowds.
