Enoteca Wine Bar Opening in Waycross
Expect a European-inspired atmosphere when Enoteca opens.
WAYCROSS, GA — Enoteca Wine Bar is preparing to open at 418 Alice Street, Waycross, Georgia 31501, with owners Lolita and Kevin Esposito targeting an opening in the next three to four weeks, pending final approval of their alcohol license.
Lolita Esposito told Business Debut the team is waiting on state approval, which could arrive in a 30-day window.
What to Expect
Enoteca will operate as a wine bar with a limited food menu designed to complement its beverage program, Esposito told Business Debut. The concept is inspired by the couple’s travels throughout Europe, particularly Italy, and aims to bring a relaxed, conversation-driven atmosphere to Waycross.
The space will feature marble tabletops, dim lighting, and a mix of seating including sofas, armchairs, and small tables. Esposito said the layout is designed to feel both intimate and communal, with an outdoor garden area offering additional seating surrounded by greenery.
Menu and Vision
The menu will focus on small plates and light fare, including flatbread pizzas, charcuterie boards, salads, and tapenade, Esposito told Business Debut. She added that the wine list will include approximately 25 to 30 rotating selections, largely sourced from regions the owners have visited.
“We wanted to bring a little bit of that European flair… someplace that’s very relaxed, but at the same time upscale,” Esposito told Business Debut.
In addition to wine, the bar will offer a small selection of domestic, local, and European beers.
Opening Timeline
Enoteca is targeting an opening within the next three to four weeks, Esposito told Business Debut, dependent on the timing of its alcohol license approval from the state.
Hours
The business plans to operate Wednesday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., with the possibility of extending to 10 p.m. based on demand, Esposito told Business Debut.
