EggBred to Debut Before Year-End in Land O’ Lakes

EggBred will open by year-end with chef-driven breakfast sandwiches, scratch-made dishes, and cold-pressed juices.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL — EggBred is targeting an opening before the end of 2025 at 16916 Focus Lp #10, Land O' Lakes, FL 34638, its upcoming location at, owner Diane Hartzel told Business Debut.

The restaurant will become unit number 10 for the California-based brand, which first opened in La Habra during the pandemic.

What to Expect

EggBred is a fast-casual, chef-driven breakfast and brunch concept focused on scratch preparation, cooked-to-order dishes, and consistent quality. Guests will place orders at the counter, guided by menu boards and staff, with options to dine inside, sit on the patio, or take food to go.

The menu centers on craft breakfast sandwiches made with fresh-cracked eggs, proprietary protein blends, cold-pressed juices, and air-roasted coffee sourced from a California vendor. Beyond sandwiches, offerings include breakfast burritos, burgers, salads, waffles, poutines, scratch cheddar biscuits, Japanese milk buns, and English muffins from local bakeries.

The Land O’ Lakes store currently holds 20 interior seats, with the ability to reconfigure the layout. Six patio tables will be located in the surrounding courtyard at The Hub at Bexley.

Chef and founder Albert Shim created the EggBred concept and launched the first unit during the pandemic. His chef-driven approach and ingredient standards were a primary draw for Hartzel after decades in the restaurant industry.

“There’s just a story behind most of the products,” she told Business Debut. She noted the brand’s soft-scrambled egg sandwich as a standout, along with the Japanese milk buns and housemade poutines.

Hartzel said EggBred fills the niche between fast-food breakfast and full-service concepts, offering a modern, approachable space supported by strong culture, branding, and packaging.
