Dream City Brewing to Debut in Historic Carrollton Building
Local brothers and wives team up to open community-focused brewery, offering craft beers, coffee and tea in downtown space.
Dream City Brewing is set to open by the end of the year at 120 Newnan St, Carrollton, Georgia 30117, co-founder Joel Pollard told Business Debut. Joel and his brother Chris, along with their wives Katie and Ashley, will operate the business.
Their website shares that the team's vision is to provide a community-focused venue in their West Georgia hometown, featuring a carefully chosen range of craft beers, coffees and teas. The establishment will be focused on serving only beverages brewed onsite.
Located in a historic downtown building, Dream City Brewing has undergone significant renovations. The space will initially feature indoor seating for 40-50 people and a covered back patio with an additional 30-40 seats. In a second phase planned for the future, a rooftop area will add another 100 seats.
Open all day, the brewery will cater to both morning and evening patrons. They plan to offer between 7 and 15 beers, depending on the season. Joel, an experienced home brewer, is a member of both the Georgia Craft Brewers Guild and the National Craft Brewer's Association according to the website.
Construction is expected to be completed in a couple of months, with Dream City Brewing hoping to open its doors to the Carrollton community toward the end of the year.
