AUGUSTA, GA — SUEA Thailicious is preparing to open at 123 James Brown Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901, with an opening date to be announced as the team awaits its health inspection, co-owner Jessie Wongkaew told Business Debut. Owners Arisa Thongsri and Wongkaew are finalizing decor, completing bar setup, and training ahead of launch.

What to Expect

The concept is positioned as an Asian-inspired restaurant and bar in downtown Augusta, with lunch service expected to be a major focus due to nearby offices and medical and government workplaces. “It’s going to be like the new hangout place for Augusta,” Wongkaew told Business Debut.

The dining room will seat about 40 guests inside, and the team plans to operate seven days a week for lunch and dinner.

SUEA Thailicious plans to serve a mix of authentic Thai dishes and Thai fusion, with a smaller set of familiar favorites alongside creative crossovers intended for guests newer to Thai cuisine. Wongkaew said the menu will include options like Thai-flavored tacos, plus a “massaman burger” inspired by massaman curry.

On the beverage side, the team has brought in a bartender from Thailand with 15 years of experience and multiple awards, and they plan to focus on creative cocktails with Asian flavors.

Opening Timeline

The restaurant is targeting an opening once inspections are complete and final bar and decor details are finished, with a date to be announced.
