Dorothy’s Downtown to Bring Cajun Cuisine to Jacksonville
A New Orleans-style Cajun restaurant is opening soon in the former Burrito Gallery in Jacksonville.
Dorothy’s Downtown is set to open in Jacksonville at 21 E Adams St, Jacksonville, FL 32202, taking over the former Burrito Gallery space. According to co-owner Jorge Gonzales, the restaurant will offer indoor and outdoor seating, with a total capacity of around 130 seats. Reservations will be preferred to enhance the dining experience.
Dorothy’s Downtown will specialize in Cajun cuisine, Gonzales said. The restaurant is coming to Jacksonville via Jorge Gonzales, Jim Broy, Felicia Luke and Ashley McCaskey.
The team is currently obtaining permits to begin building out the space on East Adams Street. Stay tuned for updates as the restaurant moves closer to its opening.
