Cuzinz Southern Soul Bistro Coming to Buford in August

Cuzinz Southern Soul Bistro is preparing to open at 3421 Ridge Road, Suite A102, Buford, GA, bringing full-service Southern comfort food to the community. The trio Olivia Soul, Kanara Harden, and Cornette Jeffries, lead the restaurant. The team previously operated Soul Food of Buford.

Olivia Soul told Business Debut that they are looking forward to opening in August for the back-to-school season, with a grand opening and community give-back event.

The restaurant is expanding from a 700-square-foot to-go spot into a 2,600-square-foot dine-in location with a full-service experience.

Beyond the food, Cuzinz Southern Soul Bistro prioritizes an inclusive and family-friendly atmosphere. They plan to have live music with a saxophone player or local vocalists, karaoke-style performances, and prize competitions for kids. “We want everybody from zero to a hundred and one to come in and enjoy themselves,” said Soul. A bar is also in the works, pending final approval to provide full liquor service.

The restaurant will operate Monday through Thursday from 11 am–9 pm, Friday and Saturday until 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 am–9 pm. The menu will feature smothered turkey wings, pork chops, mac and cheese, collard greens, and candied yams. They also plan to serve items like salmon, seafood, and specialty recipes.
