Customizable Poke and Bubble Tea Shop Coming to Plantation
Poke I Love You will open a larger Plantation location with customizable bowls and bubble tea.
PLANTATION, FL - Poke I Love You is bringing customizable poke bowls, bubble tea and Korean corn dogs to Promenade Plaza in Plantation, with a larger space designed for gatherings and events. The restaurant is planning to open at 10055 Cleary Blvd, Plantation, FL 33324 in approximately five months, owner Brian Cosar told Business Debut.
The new restaurant will be located near Publix and Panera Bread and marks the brand’s second location, following its original spot in Davie that opened 4 years ago.
What to Expect
Poke I Love You focuses on customizable poke bowls and bubble tea, alongside a selection of Asian-inspired offerings including Japanese ramen and Korean corn dogs.
“We focus on poke bowls and bubble tea mostly because when I bring to the area a new concept between fresh and quality ingredients, that’s what we do,” Cosar told Business Debut. “We care about the quality on every single product we serve.”
Guests can build their own bowls with 14 to 15 vegetables, 12 to 13 toppings, nearly 20 sauces and multiple protein options. The fast-casual concept will offer about 15 seats, with options for dine-in or takeout.
Cosar said the Plantation space will be significantly larger than the Davie location and designed to better accommodate groups. “Our space is going to be much bigger than the first one,” he told Business Debut. “We will have proper organized tables and chair seating for big parties who want to celebrate their birthdays or do meetings.”
Menu and Vision
In addition to poke bowls, the menu will feature Japanese ramen and Korean-style corn dogs, which Cosar said have been especially popular at the Davie location.
“It’s like a handmade corn dog, dip in the Hot Cheetos,” he told Business Debut. “It’s crazy. I sell a lot in my first location.”
In addition to poke bowls, the menu will feature ramen and Korean corn dogs, which Cosar said have performed strongly at the Davie location.
“It’s like a handmade corn dog, dip in the Hot Cheetos,” he told Business Debut. “It’s crazy. I sell a lot in my first location.”
The beverage program will include milk teas, fruit teas and organic matcha drinks made with Yabukita matcha powder sourced from Japan, including coconut matcha, orange matcha and espresso-based variations.
Cosar said the concept was largely driven by his wife and business partner, Claire Cosar. “This is mostly her idea. She’s the brain of this concept,” he told Business Debut.
The couple developed the concept together after moving to Florida, building on Brian’s background growing up in a restaurant family and working in restaurants in New Jersey.
Opening Timeline
The Plantation location is targeting an opening in approximately five months, with the possibility of opening sooner, Cosar said.
