Curry Pizza House & Hidden Tap and Barrel Planning a Summer Opening in Kernersville
Expect craft pizza, comfort foods, and drinks.
KERNERSVILLE, NC — Curry Pizza House X Hidden Tap and Barrell is planning a new location at 1715 Welden Village Avenue, Kernersville, NC 27284. Franchisees Kenny Patel and Maulik Parikh told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting a July or August opening as construction and permitting move forward.
The restaurant will be part of new construction within the Welden Village development and will mark the first Curry Pizza House location in North Carolina.
What to Expect
The Kernersville location will feature approximately 55 to 60 indoor seats along with an additional 20 to 30 seats on the patio.
Curry Pizza House X Hidden Tap and Barrel combines a pizza restaurant with a bar-focused atmosphere. The concept pairs craft pizza with a full bar program and aims to offer both familiar and globally influenced flavors.
Menu and Vision
The menu blends traditional pizza offerings with Indian-inspired flavors alongside salads and lighter options.
Popular menu items from Curry Pizza House include specialty pizzas such as Tikka Masala Pizza, Butter Chicken Pizza, and Paneer Tikka Pizza, along with classic options like Pepperoni Pizza and Meat Lovers Pizza.

“It has both Indian style as well as the traditional pizza menu as well,” Parikh told Business Debut. “It’s not only concentrated on Indian flavors, but it has a lot of great flavors with traditional options as well.”
Additional menu items include wings, appetizers, and salads, offering a range of choices beyond pizza.

Expect also a full bar featuring craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
Opening Timeline
The team is currently finalizing architectural plans and preparing to submit permits to the town. Patel and Parikh said construction will begin once approvals are secured.
The restaurant is targeting a July or August opening.
