An expansive restaurant and music hall is opening in Clayton, NC early next year.
CLAYTON, NC — Crescendo Clayton, a full-service restaurant and live-music hall from owners Dylan Blair and Danielle Watts, is planned for the ground floor of Station Clayton at 231 E Second St, Clayton, NC 27520. The team is targeting a February 2026 opening, they told Business Debut.
What to Expect
Crescendo Clayton will combine dining and performance in one space. Guests enter a single room with a dining area and bar alongside a stage for frequent live acts. Programming will include genre-specific nights and events, like weekend jazz and gospel brunches, or R&B nights.
“We want you to feel the culture of music the moment you walk in, from foodies to music lovers,” Blair told Business Debut. Watts added that the aim is to “bring back the vibe of dinner and a show,” with lineups that span multiple styles.
Later into the evening, the atmosphere will cater more to enjoying the music, and tables may be cleared away to make more room for dancing and standing.
Menu and Vision
The restaurant will be full service for lunch and dinner, with weekend brunch. Watts is from Southern California and Blair is from New York, inspiring them to bring California freshness, New York flavors, and North Carolina familiarity and soul. A full bar will feature cocktails as a core part of the experience, with approximately 50 seats plus bar seating.
Additionally, with a large kitchen, Crescendo plans to offer catering services.

Construction is underway following town permitting. The owners are targeting a February 2026 opening; a specific date is to be announced, they told Business Debut.
Hours
Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with weekend brunch. Live music is planned primarily at night, with some late-night service after shows. Specific daily hours are to be announced.
Station Clayton and Additional Concepts
Crescendo Clayton will occupy Station Clayton’s ground floor and operate alongside the project’s broader tenant mix.
