Crab Seafood House Opened Today, Dec 1st in Sanford
This will be the brand's second location, expanding from Clayton.
SANFORD, NC — Crab Seafood House, a new low country seafood boil restaurant from owner Nick Jiang, is now open at 1939 S Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC 27330, Jiang told Business Debut. The restaurant debuted with a lunchtime grand opening at noon today, December 1st, 2025.
What to Expect
Crab Seafood House offers a sit-down dining experience focused on casual, crab-oriented seafood in a freshly built-out space. The dining room seats about 160 guests, with a bar area planned once permits are in place.
Jiang said the Sanford location is designed as a versatile option for everyday meals and special occasions, including birthdays and anniversaries. For the first two months, parties of six or more will receive 10% off their check.
Menu and Vision
“Our main focus is a low country seafood boil served with our special house sauce,” Jiang told Business Debut. The Sanford restaurant follows the original Crab Seafood House in Clayton, which has been open for about four years. The new location aims to bring that same style of seafood boil dining to Sanford with a similar menu and format.
