Crab N Catch Expanding to Thomasville
The second Crab N Catch location will focus on takeout seafood boils, hibachi, and Chinese dishes.
THOMASVILLE, NC — Crab N Catch Thomasville is targeting a soft opening in the first to second week of June at 900 W Cooksey Dr Suite C, Thomasville, NC 27360, owner Benjamin Touprong-Wang told Business Debut.
The Thomasville restaurant will be the second location for Crab N Catch, following the Burlington restaurant founded by Touprong-Wang’s mother, Margaret Touprong. Touprong-Wang told Business Debut he and his mother run the Burlington location together.
What to Expect
The Thomasville location will focus mainly on takeout, while the Burlington restaurant is built more around dine-in service, Touprong-Wang told Business Debut.
He said the Thomasville menu will be slightly smaller because of kitchen space, with no sushi or po’ boys planned for this location. The restaurant will still offer much of the Burlington menu, including seafood boils, hibachi and Chinese takeout dishes.

Touprong-Wang said he is excited to bring the Burlington flavors to Thomasville and sees an opportunity for a seafood takeout restaurant in the area.
Menu and Vision
The menu will include made-to-order hibachi, seafood boil combos, Family Catch options and a party special, Touprong-Wang told Business Debut. Seafood boils will come in a bag with sauce, corn, potatoes and optional add-ons such as eggs and sausage, along with gloves and a bib.
The restaurant will also serve Chinese takeout dishes, marinated bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, General Tso’s chicken, lo mein, fried rice, mixed vegetables and teriyaki chicken. Touprong-Wang said the bourbon chicken is marinated overnight, baked, grilled and served with a house made sauce.
Touprong-Wang shared that he operates the business as a Christ follower and that its menus include the message “Jesus loves you” along with John 14:6, reading "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
He told Business Debut the restaurant values faith, family traditions, and making customers feel like family.
