Cooper’s Hideout Bringing Food and Fun to Lake City
Lake City’s newest entertainment spot combines games, live music, and food trucks under a covered open-air venue.

A new entertainment destination, Cooper's Hideout, will soon open in Lake City at 2102 SE Baya Dr, Lake City, FL 32025. The business is set to open on July 19. “We’re bringing a true entertainment venue to the area,” owner Eric Levi told Business Debut. “Anyone of any age can have fun at our venue.”
The concept will be an open-air, all-ages venue that combines live music, food trucks, family-friendly games, and a beer and wine bar. Cooper's Hideout is an 8,000-square-foot covered pole barn with open walls built for rain-or-shine events. The venue has two acres shaded by six big live oak trees and can accommodate up to 50 parking spots.

It will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am–10 pm, and will also be available for private rentals. “We’ve already had some inquiries about weddings,” Levi noted, explaining that the venue may close to the public when private events are booked.
Food is a big part of the concept, too. Levi’s son-in-law, a classically trained chef, runs Charlie’s Chuck Wagon, a Southern comfort food truck that will be parked on-site most days. There will be additional rotating trucks that will round out the culinary lineup. Cooper's Hideout will also feature a beer and wine bar with light eats like chili, hot dogs, and nonalcoholic beverages.
Levi recently retired from the yachting industry and created a new venture that isn’t just a business but a family legacy in the making. “So this was gonna be something that will keep me busy, but also be a future for my kids, something that I can leave them behind that they can operate,” he shared.
