MIRAMAR, FL — Cookie Head is planning a new location at 3 Main St, STE 104, Miramar, FL 33025, with owner Brisma Fermin targeting an opening by late summer, or at the very least by October, she told Business Debut. The shop will bring the growing cookie concept to a walkable area near City Hall.

What to Expect

Guests can expect a quick-service cookie shop with a service window and outdoor seating, including a handful of tables for alfresco dining. The space will feature an open kitchen concept where customers can see cookies being made.

The experience is designed to be personal and service-focused. “We take our time… it’s going to be a one-on-one experience,” Fermin told Business Debut, noting that each order is prepared and handed off before moving to the next guest.

Cookie Head offers a rotating monthly menu of cookies, along with milkshakes, coffee, cookie sandwiches, and catering options. Fermin, a classically trained chef in French cuisine, said quality ingredients and simplicity are central to the concept.

“I was completely and utterly sold with the chocolate chip cookie,” she told Business Debut. “You could taste the quality… flour, sugar, butter, really good chocolate.”

Menu highlights include the signature chocolate chip cookie with French chocolate and sea salt, vegan and gluten-free options, and limited-time items like the Dubai chocolate cookies. The brand also offers cookie cakes and large-scale catering for events.

The concept evolved from its original name, Blueprint, into Cookie Head, maintaining a core philosophy centered on hospitality. “Be nice to people and eat a cookie,” Fermin said, describing the brand’s guiding message.

Brand Growth

Cookie Head has expanded steadily through franchising, with locations across Florida, the Northeast, and internationally. Existing South Florida locations include Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and Boca Raton, with additional stores operating in Philadelphia and Dubai.

Fermin’s Miramar location will be her first restaurant. A classically trained chef who previously worked in corporate sales, she said the decision was rooted in both passion and purpose. “I always had that entrepreneurial spirit, but I wanted to focus on something that I knew was good and had great service,” she told Business Debut.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting an opening by late summer, with August or September as the goal, pending final approvals.

Hours

Planned hours are 10 a.m. — 11 p.m., with some days potentially extending to 12 a.m.
