Community Hub, Coffee Shop, and Coworking Space Opening in Lilburn on Dec. 12
BrewedUp will combine a coffee shop, coworking area, and community gatherings under one roof.
LILBURN, GA — BrewedUp is preparing to open a combined coffee shop, coworking space, and community hub at 4805 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lilburn, GA 30047. Owner Simone Edwards told Business Debut she is targeting Dec. 12 for a soft opening and Dec. 19 for the public opening.
What to Expect
The front of the space will function as a community coffee shop with seating for about 28 guests. Just off the main café area, a small lounge with a sofa and chairs will offer a quieter setting for conversation or independent work.
A nearby community room will accommodate roughly 20 people, giving space for small group gatherings such as paint-and-sip nights or workshops. Brewed Up will also feature three conference rooms, including one larger room for up to 10 people and two smaller rooms for up to four people each.
Further inside, the subscription-based coworking section will provide seating for about 78 members across shared tables and work areas. The layout is designed to support both everyday remote work and small business use.
Menu and Vision
Edwards said the concept brings together her long-standing love of coffee shops, her real estate work, and her creative background.
“I got a vision from God in my 20's to open a community space where I could connect people with what they need,” she told Business Debut.
In addition to the coffee shop and coworking areas, Brewed Up will include a podcast room, a photography studio, and a content room with three backdrop walls. She will also provide virtual addresses and mailbox services for small businesses.

“There’s no coworking space, community coffee shop, or podcast center in this area, so I created a space that has all the things I think entrepreneurs, creatives, and the community can use,” Edwards told Business Debut.
Edward will host gatherings to drive community engagement. Edwards plans spoken word and open mic poetry gatherings, book signings, real estate and homeownership education, financial literacy and wellness topics, game nights, wine tasting classes, and potentially in-person speed dating.
Opening Timeline
Edwards said Brewed Up Coffee and Coworking is targeting a soft opening on Dec. 12, followed by a public opening on Dec. 19. She noted that timing could shift as final preparations are completed.
Hours
Planned hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. — 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. — 5 p.m. The business will be closed on Sundays.
