Cill’s Cafe Bringing Comfort Food to Jacksonville
The new cafe will feature homestyle plates, themed daily specials, and quick service.

Cill’s Cafe is preparing to open in Jacksonville, blending traditional comfort food with international flavors. Owner Yareesha Sewell-Gray recently shared details with Business Debut about the upcoming launch.
Set to open at 2140 Dennis St., Jacksonville, FL 32204, the cafe is targeting an opening by the first of next month.
What to Expect
Cill’s Cafe will offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options, featuring classic dishes and rotating daily specials. Patrons can look forward to enjoying traditional breakfast plates, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and chili, alongside themed offerings like Meatloaf Monday, Taco Tuesday, Jerk Chicken Wednesday, Ribs Thursday, and Oxtail Friday. A favorite from Sewell-Gray's former food truck is the steak, egg, and cheese bagel, which will be featured on the menu.

Brand History and Vision
The cafe's name honors Sewell-Gray’s late grandmother, who sparked her love for cooking. With experience from operating a food truck and family restaurant connections in Clewiston, Sewell-Gray aims to bring her unique touch to Jacksonville. She mentioned, “We originally started in Fort Myers and Cape Coral, and we wanted to move out of the food truck and into a cafe. Jacksonville felt like the best place to grow.”
The cozy space, accommodating around 20 guests, is designed for efficient service, catering to the area’s warehouse-heavy neighborhood. Sewell-Gray aims to establish Cill’s Cafe as a dependable breakfast and lunch spot for local workers.
Opening Timeline
Projected to open by the first of next month, Cill’s Cafe plans to operate Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
