DADE COUNTY
Robeks Juice
A new juice and smoothie shop is in the works for Cutler Bay, co-franchisee Alexandra Betancourt told FFBW. Robeks Juice is planned to open in November, Betancourt said. This is her second location in South Florida. She plans to open another next year as well.

Top Creole Caribbean Cuisine
A new Caribbean and Creole restaurant is in the works, owner John Voltaire told FFBW. Voltaire reported that he recently found a building to operate out of, but he did not provide an address. When they will open is unknown.

BROWARD COUNTY
Big Whiskey's American Restaurant and Bar
The Big Whiskey's brand is coming to Davie, franchisee Steve Swanson told FFBW. The franchise is based out of Missouri, Swanson said, and they bring a eclectic range of decor and ambiance.
They serve the classic American style cuisine, Swanson said. They will have a large bar selection as well. Swanson said that if the stars align, they will open on September 1st at: 4599 S University Dr, Davie, FL 33328. Swanson is also the exclusive franchisee of Big Whiskey's in South Florida.
Chuly's
A new bar and food concept is coming to Oakland Park, according to owner Christopher Hernandez. Currently, Hernandez is working on securing a location for the bar, and hopes to have the lease signed by the weekend.
Expect to enjoy food like chicken wings, sandwiches, slides, hot dogs and more. Currently, the address listed on the DBPR plan review filing is: 3635 N Andrews Ave, Oakland Park, FL 33309. However, this address is not finalized.
Hawaii Like Me
A new fruit and smoothie shop is coming to the Coral Square shopping mall, owner Jeyson Delgado told FFBW. Hawaii Like Me will serve breakfast foods, açai, and other healthy treats for mall goers.
Delgado told FFBW that he expects to open on August 27th. Find them at: 9469 W Atlantic Blvd, Coral Springs, FL 33071.
ORANGE COUNTY
Chuan Fu
Another location of authentic Chinese cuisine is on the way, co-owner Yan Cai told FFBW. Cai and her partners are also the owners of Chuan Lu Garden in Orlando.
This new location is planned to open at the beginning of September, Cai told FFBW. Their specialty will be Szechuan chicken and other Chinese dishes.

OSCEOLA COUNTY
Hokusai Ramen
Co-owner Yajing Song told FFBW that Hokusai Ramen is planning to open in the Kissimmee. Song reports that they are in the construction phase, and they want to open in the next two months or so. They will also open another location in about a year if all goes will with this unit, Song said.
They will open at: 7591 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34747.
SUMTER COUNTY
Candelaria Eatery & Cafe
A new strip mall construction will be home to the Candelaria Eatery and Cafe, according to co-owner Javier Mendez. As of now, and opening date is unknown. Mendez told FFBW that he'd like to open in November if the buildout continues smoothly.
The fast-casual concept will serve a mix of Colombian and American style food, from different coffees, pastries, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and more. As of now, they do not have a website. Find them at: 4059 Thomas St a01, Oxford, FL 34484.
POLK COUNTY
Smokin' DJ's
A well known Lake Wales food truck, D on Wheelz, is growing into its first brick and mortar location soon, co-owner Jennifer Leeks told FFBW. Smokin' DJ's came about because of a grant from the city of Lake Wales so that Mr. and Mrs. Leeks could turn their delicious BBQ into a permanent staple of the area.
Right now, the Leeks are waiting on licensing and some construction to finish up so that they can open the doors. An exact date is unknown. Find their food truck's Facebook page here.
HERNANDO COUNTY
Tipcanoe Creamery
A new family owned business is coming to Spring Hill soon, co-owner Walter Foster told FFBW. Tipcanoe Creamery will offer a wide range of 28 homemade ice cream flavors with homemade waffle cones, and more.
Foster reported that they are amidst permitting, and when they open is largely based on when the permits come through. Find them at: 6220 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, FL 34613.
PASCO COUNTY
ChefRican
A new food truck is coming to the Lutz area soon, owner Pedro Canderlaria told FFBW. ChefRican will serve a blend of American food and Latin food, drawing on influences from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Spain, and the United States.
An exact timeline for opening is unknown, as Canderlaria is waiting on inspections and licensing.
