BUFORD, GA — Chicks N Boba, a new fast-casual fried chicken and bubble tea concept from owner Hien Le with partners Pedro Reyna and Quyen Chau, is planned for 1 W Main St Suite 3, Buford, GA 30518. The team is targeting an opening in about three to four months, Le told Business Debut.

What to Expect

Chicks N Boba will operate as a counter-service, fast-casual restaurant with seating for about 28 guests. The space is being designed with a bright interior featuring pink booths, floral accents on the walls, and hanging swings to create a playful spot for quick meals, snacks, or drinks.

Le said this is the group’s first brick-and-mortar concept. Ahead of opening, they have been hosting pop-up events around the Buford area.

“We’re doing fried chicken sandwiches with a variety of different sauces. All the sandwiches come topped with fresh coleslaw and crinkle cut pickles on a brioche bun,” Le told Business Debut.

Sauces will include a house signature savory sauce, along with jalapeño ranch and hot honey sauces.

To go with the sandwiches, Chicks N Boba will offer a range of bubble teas. The goal is to keep the menu focused and straightforward, pairing fried chicken sandwiches with customizable boba drinks in one streamlined concept.

Opening Timeline

Construction at the Main Street space is largely complete. The team is currently waiting for electricity to be connected and for the city to issue a certificate of occupancy. Le said they are aiming to open in roughly three to four months, with an exact date to be announced.
