Ceviche Bringing Spanish Dining to Tampa’s International Plaza
Ceviche will open at Tampa’s International Plaza, offering scratch-made Spanish tapas, paellas, and ceviches daily.
TAMPA, FL — Ceviche, the Spanish tapas restaurant founded in 1997, is planning a new location inside International Plaza at 2223 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33607. Owner Lee Karlins told Business Debut the team expects to begin construction in early February and is targeting a late July opening. Business Debut heard about this story first from That's So Tampa.
Menu and Vision
The full-service restaurant and bar will serve lunch and dinner daily with a focus on casual, social dining. The 240-seat space will include indoor dining, a covered patio, and an outdoor patio, along with roughly 25 bar stools. Guests can also expect a large glass-enclosed wine room designed to hold about 2,000 bottles and an open kitchen visible from the dining room.
Karlins described Ceviche as a Spanish tapas concept inspired by traditional dishes from Barcelona, Valencia, and across Spain. “Our chef has been with us for 26 years, and many of the dishes are his takes on recipes from his childhood,” he told Business Debut.
The menu will include items such as oxtail, grilled octopus, several ceviches, four types of paella, and charcuterie featuring jamón ibérico carved to order. “Everything on our menu is made from scratch,” Karlins said. “It is a very prep-intensive kitchen, but that is what makes the experience special.”

The Tampa restaurant will also feature a smaller lunch menu with lighter options suited to the mall’s midday crowd.
Opening Timeline
Construction is scheduled to begin the first week of February, with opening planned for the last week of July.
Hours
Tentative hours are Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., and Friday through Saturday 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. The restaurant will close only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
