Casa Cotzelli to Open Second Naples Location in January

Casa Cotzelli will open a new east Naples location in mid-January, featuring a full bar and its signature fresh pasta and seafood.

NAPLES, FL — Casa Cotzelli, the Italian restaurant from co-owners Filippo Butelli and Gabriele Cotza, is planning to open a second Naples location in mid-January 2026 at 12712 Tamiami Trl E, Naples, FL 34113, they told Business Debut.

What to Expect

Casa Cotzelli’s new east Naples restaurant will be a full-service, sit-down operation with seating ranging from about 120 to 140 guests, including roughly 90 to 110 seats indoors and about 26 to 28 on the patio.

The concept is intended to feel like visiting the owners’ home for dinner, featuring homemade pasta, fresh seafood and fresh beef in a warm, inviting environment. “The concept of Casa is to make our guests feel at home, with homemade pasta, fresh seafood and fresh beef in a very warm environment,” Cotza told Business Debut.

The restaurant will also include a full bar.

The menu will center on housemade pasta, fresh seafood and carefully sourced meats, including wild game. Planned signature dishes include pasta with sausage, leeks and pistachio pesto; cozze e patate in pasta form; and a rotating daily selection of housemade ravioli.

Additional offerings will feature wild boar and lamb dishes, both in pasta formats and as main-course entrées, as well as seafood items such as branzino, baccalà and an octopus appetizer.

This will mark the second Casa Cotzelli location. The original, located inside the Island Walk community in North Naples, opened three years ago and has continued to grow, drawing diners both from within and outside the neighborhood. The owners plan to bring core signature items to the new location while adding dishes tailored to the east Naples area.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting a mid-January 2026 opening for the new Tamiami Trail East restaurant.

Hours

Casa Cotzelli plans to open seven days a week. Current expectations are for an opening time around 11 or 11:30 a.m., with closing around 9 p.m. on weekdays and about 10 p.m. on weekends. Final hours will be announced closer to the opening date.
