Caribbean and American Fusion Restaurant Coming to North Miami

A new Caribbean and American fusion restaurant is opening in North Miami, owner Berkly Fertilien shared with Business Debut. The restaurant will feature Caribbean dishes, with an emphasis on Haitian cuisine, alongside American staples.

Expect to find them at: 13970 W Dixie Hwy, North Miami, FL 33161, where they will be taking over Universe Restaurant: Haitian Take Out.

In addition to food, Fertilien plans to offer a full bar. As of now, 50–80 seats are planned inside. While they are making progress toward opening, Fertilien noted that they could open as late as early next year, depending on when licensing is finalized. However, the hope is to open sooner.

Fertilien also owns the neighboring eatery, Latin House Express Cafe & Grill. He is opening Sera’s Caribbean Bar and Grill in partnership with his consulting and investment firm, Finesse Management and Investments LLC.
