Captain’s Creamery is set to open in the next four to five months at 1101 Ray Charles Blvd, Tampa, FL 33602, bringing a family-friendly ice cream shop with a manatee-based theme, owner Captain Brathwaite shared with Business Debut. The shop will not only serve sweet treats but also contribute to manatee preservation by donating a portion of its profits to conservation efforts.

Designed as a space for families and children, Captain’s Creamery will feature an arcade alongside its menu of unique ice cream flavors, including Sea Salt Caramel and Davy Jones Dark Chocolate. In addition to its playful nautical theme, the shop will host events like “Make Your Own Sundae” nights and ocean-themed story time, reinforcing its mission of community engagement and marine awareness, Brathwaite shared with Business Debut.

The shop is a brand-new concept, marking Brathwaite’s entry into the food and beverage industry. Brathwaite is partnering with Tony Trunzo on the project, and the business is currently in pre-construction.
