Cafe Istanbul is preparing to open very soon at 8540 Roswell Rd, Atlanta, GA 30350, owner Kemal Aytac confirmed. “We’re ready to open,” Aytac told Business Debut. “Hopefully, when the paperwork is done, we’ll be ready to go.”

Once open, Cafe Istanbul will provide full-service Mediterranean and Turkish dining. It will be open daily from 11 am to midnight on weekdays and until 2 am on weekends. Diners can enjoy Turkish cuisine, colorful cocktails, live DJ performances, and belly dancing shows. There will be a full bar and dishes prepared from scratch on the menu.

Aytac brings more than 30 years of industry experience. “We have a very nice patio outside. [We're going to serve] nice cocktails and unique dishes. It's something different,” he said.

Cafe Istanbul made its debut in Decatur in 1996 and expanded to Athens, Kennesaw, and Alpharetta. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all four locations shut down like many other businesses. The team is now reviving the idea with the same passion and fresh energy that made it well-loved in the past.
