Cabana Cafe Bringing Local Market Concept to Beaufort
A soft opening weekend beginning April 3 is planned for this new cafe and market serving the Beaufort community.
BEAUFORT, NC — Cabana Cafe, a new community-focused cafe and market from owner Leslie Allred, is set to open with a soft opening weekend beginning April 3rd at 409 Skimmer Cove, Beaufort, NC 28516. Allred told Business Debut the space is ready, with final inventory and product deliveries underway ahead of opening.
What to Expect
Cabana Cafe is designed as a hybrid cafe and market centered on local sourcing. The concept pulls products from existing North Carolina businesses, with a focus on keeping offerings fresh and rotating.
Guests can expect local baked goods, retail items, beer and wine, and coffee service, along with grab-and-go foods like chicken salad and pimento cheese. The space operates within the Beau Coast residential community but is open to the public, offering what Allred described as a “clubhouse market” feel.
Menu and Vision
The cafe will feature partnerships with local vendors including Giovanni Bagels, Beaufort Baking Company, and Sugarloaf Island Bakery, with plans to expand offerings over time. Coffee service will begin with cold brew and drip coffee, with additional options expected later.
“Our biggest focus is supporting local and giving people access to products from nearby businesses without having to go all over town,” Allred told Business Debut.
Allred also owns Beach Bowls, an acai bowl and smoothie shop located a few miles away in Beaufort, which recently celebrated three years in business.
Opening Timeline
Cabana Cafe will begin with a soft opening weekend starting April 3rd, aligning with spring break traffic in the area.
Hours
The cafe will initially operate Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., with potential adjustments based on demand.
