Bubbakoo’s Burritos Debuting in Durham for First NC Location

DURHAM, NC — Bubbakoo’s Burritos is set to open its first North Carolina restaurant in December at 8202 Renaissance Pkwy #103, Durham, NC 27713, franchisee Yash Patel told Business Debut. A second location is planned for Cary at 337 Sembler Ln, Cary, NC 27519, targeting the next four to five months. We heard the news first from the Triangle Business Journal.

What to Expect

The fast-casual concept will bring a Mexican-fusion, build-your-own format to the Triangle with bowls, burritos, tacos, salads, nachos, and loaded fries. The Durham shop is in final buildout and will train staff ahead of a December debut. “We’re in the final stages of construction and targeting a soft opening the first week of December,” Patel told Business Debut.

Menu and Vision

Guests can customize entrées with a range of proteins, toppings, and sauces. “People can come in and use any of the ingredients to create their own entrée,” Patel told Business Debut.

Ownership and Growth

Husband-and-wife team Yash and Vidhi Patel will operate these upcoming North Carolina locations. The pair previously opened the fast-casual Mediterranean concept Hummus Republic in Jacksonville and hold a multi-unit agreement for Bubbakoo’s, with additional North Carolina markets under consideration.

Opening Timeline
