Breakfast and Brunch Brand Coming to Concord
Wake Up and Eat is planning to open a second location in Concord in about two months.
CONCORD, NC — Wake Up and Eat, a full-service breakfast and brunch restaurant from owner Jose Fuentes, is expanding with a second location at 360 Exchange St. NW Suite 107, Concord, NC 28027. Fuentes told Business Debut the team is working through approvals and utilities before beginning a light remodel, with a goal of opening in about two months.
What to Expect
Fuentes said the Concord restaurant is a second-generation space that previously operated as a Greek restaurant. He said the buildout is expected to be “nothing too crazy,” with the existing layout largely staying in place. The new location is expected to seat about 40 to 50 guests.
Menu and Vision
Wake Up and Eat is positioned as a breakfast-and-brunch spot with a broad comfort-food lineup. Fuentes said the Concord location will mirror the menu from the current restaurant, bringing the same offerings to a new market.
Menu items discussed in the interview included sandwiches, waffles, chicken and waffles, pancakes, burgers, onion rings, chicken tenders and more.
Opening Timeline
Fuentes told Business Debut the team is waiting on approvals and power to begin infrastructure work and start construction. He said the goal is to open in about two months, though an exact date has not been announced.
Hours
Fuentes said the plan is to operate seven days a week. Hours are expected to run 7 a.m.—3 p.m.
