DADE COUNTY

Breaker's Korean BBQ

Another Korean BBQ joint is coming to Wellington soon, according to the Breaker's Korean BBQ website. The brand has locations in Georgia, Virginia, Texas, and now they are expanding into Florida. The website states that they will open this spring, but their address is still claimed by a now-closed Ruby Tuesday. An exact opening date is unknown.

Palm Bakery 2

A new bakery is coming to Homestead soon, according to owner Dominique Brady. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining permits and doesn't have an estimated opening date to share.

They will appear at 1541 SE 12th Ave, Homestead, FL 33034.

Chivas Burger

A Miami-area food truck is planning to open a permanent location, according to a plan review filed with the DBPR. According to the Chivas Burger website, Michael Angulo is the owner of the brand. Chivas Burger specializes in serving Colombian food. When they will open the permanent location is unknown.

Reny's Burger

A new burger joint is coming to the area, according to owner Reny Sierra. Sierra said that they hope to open as soon as next week, but they are still waiting on the correct permits to come through.

BROWARD COUNTY

Murano by Ferraro

Hallandale Beach will be welcoming another concept, according to owner Igor Ferraro. Murano by Ferraro is in the early planning stages of opening, as Ferraro told FFBW that they plan to open in a year.

Bakery 2000

Coconut Creek is set to receive a new location of Bakery 2000, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Bakery 2000 has one other location in Deerfield Beach. When this new unit will open is not known, but you can visit the company website here.

Olivo Mediterranean Restaurant

Olivo Mediterranean Restaurant is coming to Plantation soon, according to co-owner Vania Fuqaha. Guests will order at a counter, and then they will take their seats and have their food brought to them. Fuqaha estimates that they will open in about two weeks.

4AM Lounge Bar and Grill

A new nightlife concept is coming to Lauderdale Lakes soon, according to co-owner Vernon Burroughs. 4 AM Lounge Bar and Grill will have an upscale modern urban vibe, according to a brand spokesperson. During the day, they will serve food and drinks, and at night, the place will become a chic lounge that won't close until 4 AM. Blow One Smoke Shop, which is around the corner, is also under the same ownership and will provide hookah services.

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza

FFBW confirmed today with franchisee Armando Cohen that Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza is on the way to Boynton Beach. The pizza brand has locations in Florida, Texas, and a few internationally as well. This unit is in the process of acquiring permits, and they project opening in 2024.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY

Chicken Place & Amoré Italian Chophouse

Restauranteur Kyle Greene is bringing a concept to Port St. Lucie this fall, according to his website. Chicken Place will serve latin-style rotisserie chicken and cocktails. From the looks of it, the restaurant will emulate the sophisticated full-service style that Greene's other concepts follow.

Kyle G Restaurants also has plans for an upscale Italian chophouse called Amoré. Their website estimates a winter 2024 opening for this concept.

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY

Sweet Desires Espresso Bar

A new establishment is headed to Vero Beach soon, according to owner Ellis Buckner. Details about the concept are on the down low for now, but based on the name we think that this will be a dessert and coffee bar. An opening date hasn't been set.

21st Amendment Distillery

A new distillery and bar is coming to the Vero Beach area soon, according to the owner Jeff Palleschi. Palleschi recently shared that they plan to open toward the end of May. They will serve their own distilled spirits. Check out the website here.

OSCEOLA COUNTY

Protein Factory Nutrition

A new concept called Protein Factory Nutrition is coming into town soon, according to co-owner Carlos Otero. The concept will be a health and fitness inspired cafe with energy teas, protein shakes, and other delicious offerings. Visit the website here. Otero estimates that they will open next month.

ORANGE COUNTY

Gravity Taproom

A new taproom is in the works for Orlando, according to co-owner Brad Barrett. Gravity Taproom will offer local and national craft brews, along with shareable snacks and small plates. When they will open is still under wraps, but visit their website here.

Cyber Tropical Cafe

A new cafe is moving into Orlando, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Cyber Tropical Cafe is owned by Erica Martinez and Maria Alvarado. When the new concept will open is not known.

Curious Cork Wine and Provisions

A new watering hole is coming to Orlando soon, according to the LinkedIn page of owner Bob Flynn. Expect to find a self-pour concept for beer and wine. Additionally, Flynn recently filed a plan review with the DBPR. When this new concept will open is unknown.

Dos Bros Mexican Grill

This Mexican food restaurant will be making its first appearance in the Sunshine State soon, according to a plan review filed with the DBPR. Dos Bros Mexican Grill is coming to Orlando by way of Green Leaf 11, Inc. The business is led by Ankit Patel and Chirag Patel. When this new location will open is unknown. The brand has units open in Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama and Louisiana.

LAKE COUNTY

NYC Hot Dog Co

A new New York-style hot dog spot is coming to Clermont, according to owner Roger Ocasio of Funky Fresh Tee's LLC. Ocasio doesn't have an opening date set as of now. He is waiting on city permits to come through before publicizing a timeframe.
