Bravo Mar Bringing Coastal Peruvian Flavors to Deerfield Beach

Opening this October, Bravo Mar will debut with coastal Peruvian favorites, Nikkei specialties, and a beer and wine bar.

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL – Bravo Mar is preparing to bring coastal Peruvian flavors to the shores of South Florida on the third week of October. The new restaurant will open at 1965 NE 2nd St, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, according to co-owner Vanesa Oliva, who spoke with Business Debut. We came across the story first in the Sun Sentinel.

Owners Oliva and Dennis "Beto" Quiroz, who also manage the popular Bravo Peruvian Kitchen, own Bravo Mar. In their coastal rendition, the restaurant will serve Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian. “This is a new adventure for us,” Oliva shared. “We’re excited to continue bringing our traditions to life with this coastal-inspired concept.”

The restaurant will open as a full-service dining destination with 36 indoor seats. A patio lounge with about 25 additional seats is planned once the rainy season passes. Once open, the restaurant will operate Tuesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. – 10 p.m., extending until 11 p.m. on weekends.

The menu will feature classic Peruvian favorites such as ceviche, tiraditos, and house specials. Bravo Mar will also revive its iconic sandwiches from its original sandwich shop concept. Vegan seafood dishes will also be part of the lineup.

Bravo Mar will also serve beer and wine, with plans to expand into a full cocktail program. Guests can expect traditional Peruvian drinks.

A Family-Owned Peruvian Concept

Bravo Peruvian Kitchen has been serving customers for 17 years in Wilton Manors. They also have a Coral Springs location that recently celebrated its fourth anniversary. In South Florida, Oliva and Quiroz have established a solid reputation for genuine Peruvian cuisine and friendly service.

“We want this place to be designed as a gathering kind of place,” Oliva said. “We want to offer our customers an atmosphere with fresh seafood in a great place.”
