Boujie Bodega, a New York-style bodega during the day and a speakeasy themed restaurant at night, is set to open on September 1st at 4217 W Bay to Bay Blvd, Tampa, FL 33629, pending final inspection, owner Jessica Kustron told Business Debut.

Inspired by her time in New York, Tampa native Kustron will offer specialty coffees and breakfast sandwiches from 7 am - 2 pm daily. Menu highlights include the Boujie BEC (bacon, egg and cheese with dijon mustard and arugula), French BEC (bacon, egg and cheese on French toast), vegan options and the Boujie B honey latte.

Thursday through Saturday evenings, the space will transform into an 18-seat speakeasy with two reservation-only seatings (6 - 8 pm and 8 - 10 pm). A rotating menu will feature dishes like pan-seared crab cakes, citrus roasted beet salads, cumin-dusted grouper, coco espresso seared filet and pine-nut arugula risotto.

Kustron emphasized bringing the community together by creating a welcoming environment for various gatherings, such as Taco Tuesdays with "boujie tacos" and potentially a poetry night.

The venue will also offer charcuterie boards for catering and be available for private events. Boujie Bodega will serve beer, wine and mocktails, aiming to create a community gathering space that evolves throughout the day.
