Botanical Tea Bar Coming to St. Augustine
The new lounge and non-alcoholic tea bar will provide craft beverages, snacks, and a relaxing atmosphere for guests.
Shanti Kava is opening in St. Augustine, owner Denise Cooke shared with Business Debut. The new botanical tea bar and lounge will bring a daytime coffee shop atmosphere that transitions into a non-alcoholic lounge and nightclub vibe in the evenings.
The lounge will open at 525 FL-16, St. Augustine, FL 32084 with 1,760 square feet and seating for 44. The layout will feature tables, lounge-style seating, a bar area, and a designated “Zen Den” designed for small group gatherings such as book clubs.
Additional amenities will include darts, a pool table, and an entertainment stage.
The menu will feature botanical teas, kava, coffee, and a variety of snacks and food items, including vegan and low-carb options. Guests can expect items like quiche bites, flatbreads, and other light bites.
Cooke shared that her journey toward opening Shanti Kava began during her recovery from a serious illness. That experience led her to prioritize her health, ultimately becoming a health and wellness coach.
An opening date has not been announced yet, but Shanti Kava plans to be open seven days a week from 7 am to midnight.
