Bolivar Coffee Opening in Marietta This Winter
Expect homemade Colombian fare and desserts crafted by local moms.

MARIETTA, GA — Bolivar Coffee plans to open its second location at 1651 Powder Springs Road, Suite 112, Marietta, GA. Owner John Alexander Jaramillo told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in January or February, pending final permit approvals.
What to Expect
The new Bolivar Coffee will offer the same handcrafted approach and family-driven hospitality that have made its first Smyrna location a local favorite. Jaramillo described the concept as a five-star coffee shop that focuses on scratch-made food and warm hospitality.
The 3,000-square-foot café will feature counter service with elevated presentation and quality. The Marietta location will also include a fenced indoor play area for children, allowing parents to relax or work while their kids play nearby.
Menu and Vision
“All our food is made from scratch. We do not even have a microwave,” Jaramillo told Business Debut. “Everything that we make is by moms, my mom, my wife, and the moms of our workers. They all send us desserts, and we sell them in the store. Some of them even work at the café.”
Breakfast favorites include Colombian-style scrambled eggs with hogao, a sofrito of onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and spices, served with an arepa. Other offerings include El Mañanero, a homemade breakfast sandwich with eggs, sausage, and cheese. The team also makes its own pesto and mayonnaise using imported Parmigiano-Reggiano from Italy.
