Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks is making its way into Central Florida with plans for 10 new locations, according to multi-unit franchisee Derek Lewis, who shared the news with Business Debut. The first two brick-and-mortar locations are already under development, with one in South Downtown Orlando and another in Oviedo.

The upcoming locations will appear at:

Lewis brings over three decades of corporate experience at PepsiCo to his new role as an entrepreneur. He already operates four kiosk locations in Orlando’s sports arenas—two in the Kia Center Arena and two in Camping World Stadium—though these are not part of the 10-unit expansion plan.

The first two brick-and-mortar locations are expected to open by the end of Q1 and the beginning of Q2 next year. Following these openings, additional locations will begin development.

Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks, founded in 2014 by Derrick Hayes in Atlanta, Georgia, has gained a reputation for its authentic Philly cheesesteaks. With rapid growth through franchisees, the brand is expanding beyond Atlanta to bring its signature offerings to new markets.
