ATLANTA, GA — Bertolozi’s Pizzeria is targeting an early December debut at 4279 Roswell Rd #101, Atlanta, GA 30342, owner Danny Huber told Business Debut. The project was previously reported by Tomorrow’s News Today Atlanta.

What to Expect

The brick-and-mortar follows a run at Roswell Junction food hall and will focus on Chicago cracker-thin pizzas. The shop will open with a tight menu designed for consistency and volume as operations ramp up. Lunch service may be added after dinner service is dialed in.

Huber says the dough process takes about a week and draws on mid-20th-century Chicago techniques. The opening menu will feature cracker-thin pizza, Italian beef, and Chicago dogs, with a few salads and sides. “I couldn’t find true Chicago cracker-thin pizza here, so I started making it at home and it took on a life of its own,” Huber told Business Debut.

The name honors Huber’s late mother, Joyce Bartolozzi. “Pizza became a way to work through her passing and to honor her,” Huber told Business Debut, noting several pizzas—including “The Joyce”—carry family names.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting early December pending permits and final buildout. A mural and equipment installation are in progress, Huber told Business Debut.

Hours

Initial plan: Tuesday–Thursday 5 p.m.—9 p.m.; Friday 5 p.m.—10 p.m.; Saturday 12 p.m.—10 p.m.; Sunday to be announced. Lunch hours may follow after opening.
