Beignets and Brew Coming to Fort Mill

FORT MILL, SC — Beignets and Brew is targeting a late June opening at 360 Fort Mill Pkwy #160, Fort Mill, SC 29715, pending construction timelines, co-owner Kristoffer Patrick told Business Debut. The shop will mark the brand’s first location in Fort Mill and its first in South Carolina.

What to Expect

The Fort Mill location will be built from a cold, dark shell, with construction expected to take about 90 days once permits are finalized, Patrick said. The space is part of a newly developed retail center that opened within the last 18 months and is still leasing remaining units.

Beignets and Brew is known for its café-style setup centered around made-to-order beignets and coffee offerings, following a model that has expanded across the Southeast in recent years.

Menu and Vision

The concept was originally created by the founders of Tropical Smoothie Cafe and began franchising about two years ago, Patrick said. Locations have primarily been concentrated in Florida, with recent expansion into markets including Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, and now South Carolina.

Patrick said the Fort Mill location is part of a broader growth strategy. “We would like to get to a four count at some point in the Charlotte metro surrounding suburbs,” he told Business Debut, with potential future locations spanning both North and South Carolina.

Opening Timeline

The team is targeting an opening timeframe around the end of June, dependent on permitting and construction progress.
