Beach Bros Coffee Expanding to Riverside Location in Port Orange
Opening in about a month, the Port Orange location will feature riverside seating, a roasting bar, and monthly events.

PORT ORANGE, FL – Beach Bros Coffee is preparing to open its second location at 3738 Halifax Dr, Port Orange, FL 32129. Owner Brian Schleifer told Business Debut the café is set to open in about a month, bringing a unique farm-to-cup coffee experience right on the Halifax River as part of the Riverwalk Social project.
The new location, a fast-casual restaurant, will feature a 3,000-square-foot riverside space with indoor and outdoor seating for about 75 guests. “We really focus on our farm-to-cup concept, understanding our beans, the varieties, and the flavors that work with different types of coffee,” Schleifer said. “Our coffee shop will have a coffee bar, beer and wine bar, and roasting bar.”
More Than Just Coffee on the Menu
Beyond espresso and lattes, Beach Bros Coffee’s Port Orange spot will include a coffee bar, roasting bar, and beer and wine bar. The roasting bar will allow customers to enjoy small-batch roasting demonstrations, coffee cuppings, and tastings. Schleifer and his team also plan to host monthly community events to educate coffee lovers about brewing and bean varieties, tapping into what he describes as the fourth wave of coffee culture, an era defined by artisanal, socially engaged coffee enthusiasts.
Alongside coffee, the café will serve imported Italian pastries such as tiramisu, gelato, coffee cake, cannoli, and Italian donuts. Beer and wine will also be served, as it features a beer and wine bar separately from the coffee bar. “Our concept is different than most coffee shops because we are a full-service coffee company, not just a coffee shop,” Schleifer explained. “We're focusing on education and customer experience.”

From Law Enforcement to Coffee Entrepreneurship
Beach Bros Coffee sets itself apart by sourcing beans directly from a woman-owned family farm in Colombia’s mountain region, owned by a friend Schleifer met during his law enforcement career. The company imports and roasts the beans in-house, selling them both wholesale and retail.
Before launching Beach Bros Coffee in 2023, Schleifer served for nine years in law enforcement and 13 years in the military. He also ran his own financial firm and is now a co-owner of Rooftop 140, a restaurant and bar in Daytona Beach. His business partner, Paul Hartley, joins him in this new venture.
Opening Hours
The Port Orange shop will be open seven days a week from 7 am – 7 pm, with extended hours until 10 or 11 pm once its beer and wine bar launches.
