Bami Sandwich & Coffee Opening This Fall in Fruit Cove

Bami Sandwich & Coffee is set to bring authentic Vietnamese sandwiches and coffee to Fruit Cove this fall. Owner Keit Tran told Business Debut the shop is targeting an October 15th opening at 445 State Road 13 North, Suite 24, Fruit Cove, FL 32259.

The fast-casual concept will highlight Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches, a dish Tran described as second only to pho in popularity. Options will include crispy roasted pork, shredded chicken, steak, and a traditional house special with pate and butter.

Guests can also expect authentic Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, milk tea, and sugarcane juice. Seating will be limited to about 10–12 spots, with a focus on grab-and-go service.

Tran said his goal is to provide “the most authentic sandwich to the area” and give locals “a new spot to come over to hang out and enjoy the new food,” he told Business Debut.

Bami Sandwich & Coffee is Tran’s first restaurant. He was inspired to open the shop after noticing a lack of high-quality Vietnamese options nearby. He has partnered with Katelyn Le, who is also involved in the venture. Together, they are working to design a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the authenticity of the food.

The shop will feature around a dozen seats for dine-in customers while prioritizing quick counter service and takeout. Tran said special attention is being given to the interior design to create a comfortable, community-oriented vibe once the buildout is complete.

Bami Sandwich & Coffee is targeting an October 15th opening, pending final inspections.

The shop plans to open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tran said hours may be adjusted after opening based on customer demand.

The restaurant is currently hiring cashier positions.

A website and social media accounts are under development and will launch once the shop opens.
