Backyard BBQ Food Truck Expanding Into Brick-and-Mortar in Miami
The Cowarts will continue operating their food truck while expanding into the new restaurant, expected to open next month.
A new brick and mortar is in the works for Anthony and Sonya Cowart, owners of the Backyard BBQ food truck. Anthony, a long-time food truck owner, has been operating for 15 years. Now, they're adding a physical restaurant to their lineup and will continue to serve out of the truck as well.

They serve a wide menu of barbecue, jerk chicken, and much more. Expect their wide-ranging menu to include spare ribs, jerk chicken, pulled pork, briskets and stuff like that, conch, shrimp, fish, fried crab, lobster, and more.

Planning to open next month, they will serve lunch and dinner and eventually add breakfast options too. Additionally, they will stay open late for the night owls. The restaurant will serve takeout and dine-in.
