Back Nine Golf Opening 24-Hour Simulator in Dacula

A new 24-hour indoor golf simulator facility is coming to Gwinnett County. Back Nine Golf, a growing franchise based out of Salt Lake City, will soon open a location at 831 Auburn Rd, Suite 500 & 510, Dacula, GA 30019. The location is expected to open by September 15th, with construction now underway following permit approvals, according to owner Chris Palumbo, who spoke with Business Debut.

The Dacula location will feature three simulator bays and a small events area for corporate outings and private parties.

“Everybody gets a free 30-minute demo,” Palumbo said. “You just have to sign up online, and that’s our chance to show you the space and talk about tee times or memberships.”

Back Nine Golf utilizes Full Swing software, the same simulator platform featured in the TGL Golf League, backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. Members will be able to book tee times via an app, which grants building access through a secure link 15 minutes before and after the scheduled session. It will operate 24 hours a day, offering a membership-based model as well as public tee time reservations.

Back Nine Golf will focuses on flexibility, technology, and simplicity. The concept is modeled after boutique gyms, offering self-service access to high-end equipment without staff on site.

Back Nine Golf is one of approximately 75 locations already open nationwide, with over 150 more in development, according to Palumbo. He brings experience from a previous entrepreneurial venture, Battle Ground Spirits, a liquor brand he co-founded that contributes to veterans and first responders via charitable donations.

“I had no worries about jumping in with a franchise because I knew I would get a lot of support from the home office as opposed to building something from the ground up,” Palumbo said. “Starting any business, you grind over stuff and build absolutely everything from scratch.”
