B-Side the Tracks Brewing Co. Will Revitalize Historic Conyers Building
New two-story brewery, micro-distillery, and event space offering house-crafted beers and spirits in downtown Conyers
A new, two story brewery, micro-distillery and restaurant is in the works for the historic downtown of Conyers, owners Amy and Tom Johnson told Business Debut. B-Side the Tracks Brewing Co. will move into the building at 909 Commercial St NE, Conyers, GA 30012.
Constructed in 1929, the building yields 5,275 square feet, and the Johnsons are planning for 75-100 seats between the two floors. The Johnsons reported that the brewing and distilling equipment would take up roughly 1/4th of the space and would reside on the ground floor, along with the Brewer's Table, high tops and the bar. The main dining space will be upstairs, the Johnsons said. It will include an area that can be sectioned off for events.
B-Side the Tracks will offer beer and spirits – all crafted in-house. Amy Johnson, the self described beer nerd, will be the master brewer. Tom Johnson will handle the distilling of whiskey, bourbon, rum and vodka. The Brewer's Table will allow guests to sit and enjoy pairings between the food and drink menu.
The Johnsons are still early on in the development process and are readying the historic building for use again. Expect them to open in Q1 of 2025, they said.
