POWDER SPRINGS, GA – Vesuvio Pizzeria Napoletana is bringing its authentic Napolitana-style pizzas to downtown Powder Springs, located at 4469 Marietta Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127. Owners Massimo and Lindsay Andreozzi plan to open their the restaurant in early January 2026, pending final construction permits, Massimo told Business Debut.

The new restaurant will offer counter service with seating for 70 to 80 guests. They plan to be open six days a week for lunch and dinner service, though exact hours have not yet been finalized.

With strong community ties, authentic flavors, and a focus on family-driven hospitality, the Andreozzis are excited to share their passion with a new neighborhood. “We like being in a downtown area, and we think Powder Springs is really on the cusp of growing,” Andreozzi said. “We're really excited to be a part of that.”

What to Expect on the Menu

Like their Kennesaw restaurant, the Powder Springs location will focus on authentic, wood-fired Napolitana pizzas made with ingredients imported directly from Italy. Popular menu highlights include the classic Margherita, the spicy Diavola topped with salami, pepperoni, and sausage, and bruschetta with burrata.

“We import 90 items from Italy, the oven is imported from Italy,” Andreozzi said, emphasizing that their pizzas are something different from New York-style pizza. “People love it for this, I love seeing in the reviews that we get from people like native Italians and how they feel when they taste the food.”

Guests can also look forward to fresh salads, charcuterie, and Italian gelato served from a new display case featuring multiple flavors. The restaurant will also offer beer and Italian wine.

A Family-Owned Expansion

The Andreozzis first opened Vesuvio Pizzeria Napoletana in Kennesaw in January 2022, a concept that was born through the COVID-19 pandemic. Massimo previously worked as a head chef at Fritti in downtown Atlanta, but lost the job due to the pandemic.

After finding a small space for rent, Vesuvio was born. “Massimo basically poured himself into this location and did what he had always dreamed of doing but never really wanted to take the risk for, but was forced into it,” Andreozzi shared.

With the Kennesaw location thriving, the couple began exploring expansion opportunities. When a property in Powder Springs became available, the city itself strongly supported the project, encouraging the Andreozzis to make it their second home base.
