WINTER PARK, FL — Austin’s Coffee is opening very soon in its new location at 2240 W. Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 co-owner Richard Whitmer told Business Debut.

The brand is debuting after being booted from their original location along West Fairbanks Avenue, a situation which Click Orlando reported on recently.

What to Expect

Austin’s Coffee aims to continue serving as an inclusive community hub where all guests feel welcome to come, enjoy live performances, and a cozy atmosphere.

The café will feature approximately 40 indoor seats with additional patio seating. Outdoor capacity is still being finalized but will exceed the previous location’s availability.

Vision

Whitmer said the team plans to elevate ingredient quality while also offering budget-friendly options for guests seeking a hot meal. The menu will expand its vegetarian and vegan selections, with a focus on locally sourced produce. “I want to expose people to new types of food that they might not have realized were so delicious,” he told Business Debut.

Austin’s Coffee has been an area staple for performances of all kinds, from music to comedy.

The current ownership team is led by president Richard Whitmer, together with his sister: vice director Angela Whitmer and investor Preacher Lawson, a comedian who has performed regularly at the original location, Orlando Weekly shared.

Austin’s Coffee is targeting an opening before December, though the timeline may shift based on remaining external approvals.

The café will return to its 24/7 schedule, operating all day and night, seven days a week.
