DADE COUNTY
Arcade Time Entertainment
A new full-service entertainment venue is on the way in Miami, according to owner Jonathan Demare. Arcade Time will include a full service dining area, arcade games, a full bar, and will be open late, Demare said.
Expect to enjoy pinball, bowling, virtual reality, billiards, ping pong, Esports, and more. The impressive food and beverage offering ranges from black angus beef filet mignon to fresh guacamole to pan crusted salmon. The adults will also find playful arcade themed cocktails like the Pac-Man Punch.
The ambitious concept is slated for a July opening; however, Demare also reported that they are planning several locations throughout the state. Find their Facebook page here.

Honey Uninhibited
From the professional football player Carlos Dunlap comes the Honey Uninhibited brand, which is set to open a new unit in Miami this fall.
COO of Uninhibited Hospitality Group Mario Nocero told FFBW that they had their beginnings in Brickell, but are moving to a new location in Coconut Grove, at 3324 Virginia St, Miami, FL 33133. Nocero said that they are waiting to complete licensing and permitting before moving forward with development. Their aim is September of this year.
The Honey Uninhibited brand is planning to continue expanding throughout South Florida, Nocero said. They hope to have two more locations in the area by Q4 of 2024.

UMA
A new restaurant is on the way, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. The owners behind the new concept are Jorge Vega and Gabriella MacPherson of Math Foods, LLC. The filing indicates that it will be called UMA.
Vega is also an owner of Gran Inka, a Peruvian restaurant brand with two locations in South Florida. The details of this new concept are unknown, except that we believe it to be under construction right now, since the filing was executed in part by the architecture and planning company Form Group.
The new restaurant's address is: 16385 Biscayne Blvd, North Miami Beach, FL 33160.
BROWARD COUNTY
Elements Restaurant Group
An energetic new restaurant group led by Michael Hernandez recently completed filing their business formation paperwork. Elements Restaurant Group, Hernandez told FFBW, is planning to open four restaurants throughout South Florida.
Each will bear the theme of one of the four elements: fire, water, earth, and air. The fire concept will feature a grill, the earth a vegetarian cuisine, the water will serve seafood, and the last will be based on molecular gastronomy.
Hernandez told FFBW that he doesn't have a strict timeline for opening the concepts, but he's aiming to have one of them open in a year. Follow Michael's Instagram page.
Kaskades Hotel Concept & Matilda Taco Bar
A new restaurant is in the works for the Kaskades Hotel at Miami Beach, according to Mike Ohana, CEO of Ohana Hospitality. The concept behind the new restaurant is still undecided, Ohana reports. They've recently had their permits approved, and an opening date is unknown.
Ohana also reported that Casa Matilda Lounge, a joined concept with the recently opened Matilda Taco Bar, is soft opened with limited hours right now. Come the 4th of July, and they will celebrate a grand opening.

Bellissimo Restaurant
The Deerfield Beach area will soon welcome a new Italian concept, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Bellissimo Restaurant is owned by Colbert Dasilva, Sebastion Palhares, and Tiago Gigante of Colbert Sebastian LLC. When this unit will open is unknown.
According to the filing, they will appear at: 1177 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441.

ORANGE COUNTY
Pico De Gallo Mexican Grill & The Bakery Colombian Cafe
Heidi Lopez, the owner of Pico De Gallo Mexican Grill & The Bakery Colombian Cafe, confirmed with FFBW that her businesses are entering a new phase of expansion.
Pico de Gallo is moving out of its space on Founders Square Drive to its original digs at the Marketplace at Avalon Park. Additionally, Lopez told shared that Pico de Gallo is also opening a new location in the Waterford Lakes area this fall. She expects the new unit to debut by the end of September.
The Bakery Colombian Cafe, located beside the soon-to-depart Pico de Gallo on Founder Square Drive, will take over the space left vacant by Pico de Gallo. Lopez reports that with the extra space, their menu, kitchen, and service capacity will expand. Expect for the new move to be made in July. Lopez said that they will not have to close during the renovations.
The bakery's current address is: 13001 Founders Square Dr, Orlando, FL 32828.
LAKE COUNTY
King's Taste BBQ
A classic Eustis staple, the King's Taste BBQ stand, is going to be re-opening soon under new ownership, Mansfield Nix confirmed with FFBW. Nix reported that he is hoping to open sometime in August. An exact date isn't available as of now.
Nix is planning on creating some space behind the building to have events and live music.

POLK COUNTY
Beyond All Smoke Ribs
A mobile food operation is expanding to a permanent location, according to Walter Campbell. Beyond All Smoke Ribs is securing its location and will soon be preparing to open.
Campell doesn't have an opening date in mind yet. The address included in the filing is: 3 N Scenic Hwy, Frostproof, FL 33843. It is unknown if this is the address for the new location.
PASCO COUNTY
Cafe 352
A new Latin cafe is in the works for Dade City, co-owner Richard Griffin told FFBW. Cafe 352 will be an upscale place for your classic coffees, sandwiches, and other snacks throughout the week. However, on Friday and Saturday evenings, it will become a dessert bar.
Guests will enjoy eating rich desserts, drinking coffee from lux china wear, and relaxing in the plush seating and lounge areas. Expect a sophisticated atmosphere. Griffin told FFBW: "It'll be elegant and upscale, but with normal prices."
Griffin is hoping to open in 75 days, but much of that will be determined with how quickly the government moves through the red tape. If not in 75 days, Griffin estimates about 90 or so.
They are finalizing their lease and hope to move forward with their designs soon.
Yellow Rose Cafe
A new food truck is opening up in Pasco County, according to owner Cheryl Ward. Yellow Rose Cafe will serve soul food, barbecue, and other similar cuisines.
Ward told FFBW that she doesn't have an opening date as of now.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
Suja's Kitchen
A new restaurant is in the works for Valrico, according to co-owner Roy Beulah. Suja's Kitchen LLC was very recently formed, and the restaurant is in the early stages of development. Beulah doesn't have an opening date to announce.
PINELLAS COUNTY
Indi's Restaurant
Co-owner Robert Bhoolai of Razz Restaurant Group confirmed with FFBW that a new restaurant is in the works for Clearwater. Indi's Restaurant, Bhoolai said, doesn't have an opening date yet. As of now, they are waiting on approval from the DBPR to move forward with their development.

This Cart's on Fire
A new mobile food operation is underway in Pinellas County, according to owner Larry Kukuda. An exact opening date is unknown, as Kukuda is waiting for licensing and other red tape.
Kukuda told FFBW that the menu will be simple and straightforward: hot dogs and sausages, but it may expand in the future.
