Welcome back to the Florida Food and Beverage Weekly Restaurant Roundup! This week we have quite a range of exciting concepts in the works. Some are a mere few days from opening, and others are just getting their construction started.

BROWARD COUNTY
Arahova Milano's
A new dual concept blending Italian and Greek fares is planning to open in Hallandale Beach, according to co-partner Anna To. Arahova Milano's is the combination of two longstanding brands: Arahova Souvlaki and Milano's. Both of these brands have been in business for 52 years, To reported to FFBW, and she and her Québec-native partners are fusing them in Hallandale Beach.
Along with gyros and bowls, they will be importing the famous Arahova's tzatziki sauce from Montreal, where the brand is based. On the Italian side of the concept, expect to enjoy fine Italian pizza by the slice, coffees, gelatos, and more.

Kelsey's Lounge
Pembroke Park will soon welcome a new concept, according to owner Lynette Freitus of Freitus Hospitality Group, LLC. Freitus reported to FFBW that Kelsey's Lounge doesn't have an opening date set.

Dino's Subs
A new sub shop is coming to the area, according to owner Scott Cohen of H. Swan LLC. Cohen reported to FFBW that he is now dealing with licensing with the city before he opens. He does not have an opening date to share yet.

Zona Blu
A local brand is bringing a Sardinian food concept to Weston soon, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Zona Blu at Bonaventure Town Center Club is owned by Andrea Fadda, Deborah Bautista, Sheila David, Giulio Ledda of Zona Blu, LLC.
When this location is planned to open is unknown. Read more about the heritage of the restaurant on their website.

Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard
A New Jersey based dessert shop is coming to Deerfield Beach soon, according to franchisees Andre Davis and George Sapirstein. The pair plan to open this location on June 15.
Sapirstein and Davis have a location in the works for West Boca Raton. They reported to FFBW that they are finalizing a lease off of Powerline Road, and they expect to open by the end of this year.
Even further out, Sapirstein and Davis are also awaiting a construction project to finish in Tradition, Port St. Lucie, where they will be opening a third Rita's unit. The shopping center that their unit will appear in has broken ground, and they project opening in Q1 or Q2 2024.
The duo's journey with Rita's began with a love for the frozen treats that the brand serves. Since their first bite, they've been loyal customers, and they hope to create many more in the communities they are opening in.

PALM BEACH COUNTY
Laspada's Original Hoagies
An area favorite is adding another location to their growing brand. Laspada's Original Hoagies, dubbed as "the best damn hoagies in town" is planning to open another unit in Boca Raton, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR.
The brand is owned by Harry and Gale Kappes. An opening date for this unit isn't available as of now.

Georgia Mae's
Chef Boris Seymore of BDS Catering and Productions, LLC is opening an exciting new concept this summer.
Georgia Mae's will open in West Palm Beach, and Chef Boris described it as a build-a-bowl concept, but for southern comfort and soul food. Chef Boris reported to FFBW that they are aiming for a July 20th opening.

OSCEOLA COUNTY
Pop Boba
Kissimmee is getting another boba shop this summer, according to owner Gabriel Fiuza. Fuiza told FFBW that Pop Boba is aiming to open on June 1, which is right around the corner.

PINELLAS
Crepesology
A new crepes concept is moving into Dunedin soon, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Crepesology is owned by Polina and Anton Pyshkin of The Pyschkins LLC.
An opening date for the restaurant is unknown as of now. Find them at: 1503 Main St, Dunedin, FL 34698.
Kitsune Sushi House
A new sushi concept is coming into town soon, according to owner Youbin Li. Kitsune Sushi House is currently under construction, and Li estimates that they will need another few months before opening.

Galaxy Hotel
Saint Petersburg is welcoming a new hotel to the area this summer. Owner Savni Bakrac of Third and First, Inc, is bringing Galaxy Hotel to St. Petersburg in July, according to the website. Based on the pages of their websites, there will likely be a roof top space and a restaurant.

POLK COUNTY
Dog Dayz Cafe
Dr. Loren Nations of Veterinary Healthcare Associates is planning to open the Dog Dayz Cafe, according to a plan review filing with the DBPR. Little is known about the concept other than it shares an address with Veterinary Healthcare Services building at: 3025 Dundee Rd, Winter Haven, FL 33884. So we're assuming that a cafe is forthcoming within the medical complex.
An opening date isn't available as of now.
BREVARD COUNTY
Urban Tea
A new tea room is coming to Indian Harbour Beach this summer, according to co-owner Michael Perduto. Urban Tea, Perduto reported to FFBW, is planned to open on July 1st, given that all of the city licensing goes well.

ORANGE COUNTY
Arcade Monsters
A central Florida local brand is headed into Orlando soon, according to Adrian Ravelo, CEO of Arcade Monsters. With four other locations, Ravelo is working hard on bring Orlando his 5th and largest arcade, restaurant, and bar.
Located on International Drive, this unit will be 15,000 square feet. It will feature a massive range of arcade games, a scratch kitchen, a full bar (which specializes in their ever-popular alcoholic smoothies), and a secret day of the day themed speakeasy located somewhere within the complex.
Additionally, expect an outdoor area with a view of the lake and bar service.

Just Salad
The New York-based and sustainability-focused brand Just Salad is bringing another location to Central Florida. The brand has locations all across the country and several others in Florida.
According to a brand spokesperson, this Orlando unit is planned for December 2023. Find the new restaurant at: 897 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32828.
Bricks & Bowls by Ghost Kitchen
A second location of Bricks & Bowls is headed to Central Florida, according to owner John Nartowicz of Ghost Kitchen, LLC.
Nartowicz reported to FFBW that they are waiting on permits to be approved to begin construction. As of now, they are hoping to open by August or September. They have one other location in Millenia Mall.

SUMTER COUNTY
Kumo Japanese Restaurant
A new Japanese restaurant is opening up in the Villages this summer, according to co-owner Youda Li. Currently, Kumo Japanese is eyeing a July 1st opening. Li reported that they are also the owner of Kumo, which is already open, in Davenport. Find their website here.
