Alessi Bakery Expanding with New Café, Marketplace, and Bar in Tampa

Alessi Bakery, which has been serving Tampa since 1912, is moving into a new location at 3003 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33609 and expanding its offerings to include a café, marketplace, and full liquor bar. Owner Philip Alessi shared with Business Debut that the new location is slated to open in mid-May, with the original bakery closing once the transition is complete.

The updated Alessi Bakery will feature a coffee bar offering acai bowls and other healthy snacks, while the marketplace will offer prepared meals like slow-roasted meats, rotisserie chicken, roasted vegetables, salads, and pizzas made in a wood stone oven. Guests will enjoy these offerings in the 120-seat indoor and outdoor dining area or grab them to go for convenience.

Operating hours will cater to a range of guests, with the coffee bar opening early between 6 - 7 am and the marketplace running until 7 - 8 pm. Evening food and drink service at the bar will extend until 11 pm or midnight, Alessi reported.
