Acai Bowls and Smoothies Coming to Medley Johns Creek
Playa Bowls is opening this fall with acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and a beach-inspired design.
JOHNS CREEK, GA — Playa Bowls plans to open a new shop at 3170 Medley Blvd., Johns Creek, GA 30097 as part of Medley Johns Creek, a mixed-use development, franchisee Nicholas Ransom told Business Debut. Ransom said construction is expected to begin in early summer, with the development’s grand opening set for Oct. 29, 2026.
What to Expect
Ransom said the shop is planned for a prime location on Medley’s green space, where activities are expected to take place, including live music, festivals, events and yoga. He said the Playa Bowls storefront is being designed for an indoor-outdoor experience, including seating and a pass-through window intended to connect the space to the outdoor activity area.
Playa Bowls is known for acai bowls, smoothies, juices, cold brew coffee and more.
Ransom said the team plans to lean into a beach-inspired look and feel from the exterior through the interior. “We have a really cool beachy vibe,” he told Business Debut.
Opening Timeline
Construction is expected to begin in early summer, with the grand opening for the Medley development scheduled for Oct. 29, 2026, Ransom said.
