FAYETTEVILLE, NC — Blazin Halal Food is planning a new Fayetteville restaurant in the former Carter Bank and Trust building at 697 Country Club Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Partner Ali T. Abdo told Business Debut the team is targeting an opening in about six months.

FAYETTEVILLE, NC — County Commissary 1 LLC is preparing to open a commissary kitchen and ghost kitchen hub for local food trucks and mobile food businesses at 3915 Ramsey St, Suite 107, Fayetteville, NC 28311. Owner Dyrall Hardy told Business Debut he is waiting on a health department inspection and is targeting an opening “within the next” week or two.

Ray Ray’s Chicken Shack

STATESVILLE, NC — Ray Ray’s Chicken Shack, a family-owned fried chicken concept, is aiming to open next week at 105 Cowan Ln, Statesville, NC 28625. Drew Hodge, the brand’s director of operations, told Business Debut the team is waiting on a final visit from the health inspector, expected Monday, before bringing in food and setting an opening day.

MARION, NC — Copper Penny Grill is planning a new location at 700 E Court St, Marion, NC 28752, targeting a fall opening. Owner Shelly Gref told Business Debut that the business is aiming for October or November. The Marion restaurant will join the group’s existing locations in Lake Hickory, Forest City and Rutherfordton.

RALEIGH, NC — Tche Gaúcho Brazilian Steakhouse, an all-you-can-eat Brazilian steakhouse from Patric Emmer and his wife, Hanah Rizzardo, is planning to open in summer 2026 at 3741 Sumner Blvd #150, Raleigh, NC 27616. Emmer told Business Debut the team is currently in the renovation stage and is waiting on permits as construction moves forward.
